2010 Ice Racing Schedule

Do we have firm dates as to when the events are? I understand firm on ice is a slippery term but...

those were idea dates that we gave to TJ & Kent but were not finalized. It was dates that fit with the other groups that run on Big Lake.

Insurance issues are still holding us up, and as of right now the Alaska Sports Car Club has no scheduled ice races. The list of tentative dates is more like a list of available dates that do not conflict with the other race groups using the track at Big Lake.

We'll know more (hopefully) after the meeting tonight.

Well insurance is the bugger for the 2010 Ice Racing season. Latest word is we would need 40 rubber 2 ice racers to pay for the insurance (at $50.00 a car). I do not think we could get that turn out. If you can let me know and I will get the insurance ordered. Its all on you the racers.

We have someone coming to the meeting in March to present a new avenue for the Alaska Sports Car Club to travel. I hope to see all the members in attendance for the next 2 meetings as our agenda will be vary full and the Alaska Sports Car Club Members will need to make some tough decisions for the future.
