It started, lots of build pics. 56K beware.

I got it started. Still a ways to go. Anyway here are the pics as of now. Some have been posted before. Anyway, this is a 383 LT4 with LS1 electronics, in a 99 Trans am.

More to come!!!

Was that a 10 bolt rear? Couldn't tell from the angle. Looks nice though man, should rip pretty good.

I remember looking at that car, im glad you got rid of those wheels with the chrome falling off. I hope you got a good deal on it! I was thinking about buying it but they wouldnt go down to what i thought it was worth. Did you fix the shifter on it?

But it definatly looks alot better than when i saw it!

So is it the same car then? Or did you do the front nose swap and paint it?

Naw, its a Strange 12 bolt, series 4 carrier with 33 spline axles. I was able to swap the LS1 brakes on it

Thanks. I was actually looking for a 99+ V6 5 speed for the swap, but it was the only manual fbody for sale at the time in Anchorage. I traded my Bronco on it plus paid cash. Got a pretty sweet deal during the winter. Tranny was a easy fix. Plus swaped the LS1 into the green 95 and am selling it to LS1Rida to offset the cost of the car.

Nope, different car. I wanted to do the front end swap to it, but this was just a better route. I am now the ultimate sinner for jerking the LS1 out and putting the LT1 in it's place.
